The Union Pacific Steam Locomotive No. 844 came through Washington on it's way to Shiloh, Arkansas. This is the 150th anniversary of the Civil War, and the steam engine was pulling a precious load of Civil War re-enactors.
There was quite a crowd welcoming the train into town, and nearly everyone had a camera in their hand. Following are a few photos our Franklin County Area Photographers captured during the event.
Waiting, and waiting, and waiting...
Here it comes!
Sweet bokeh!
Getting ready to leave...
Whistle stops are short...
Safe travels!
