Photo Critique Thursday {Michelle Anne's Flower}

First, here is the before and after of Adam's amazing sunset:

Show some love on Adam's edited photo here.
Fabulous capture, and he did an excellent job of using the feedback we gave him to improve the photo while keeping it in his style. Thank you so much, Adam, for participating!

And here is this week's photo by Michelle Anne, taken at the Botanical Gardens in St. Louis:

Photo Critique Thursday {Adam Gerdes' HDR Sunset}

Today is Photo Critique Thursday. Yes, I just now made it up. {he he he}

So, each Thursday, I will post a photo or two for you to critique. Comment with the good, the bad, and the ugly. But whatever you post, make sure it is constructive criticism. Not sure what constructive criticism is? See this post for examples.

Today's photo is from Adam Gerdes (here it is on Facebook). He captured this sunset over New Haven, Missouri this past Monday and processed it in HDR (High Dynamic Range). He is ready for your comments!

FCAP Invited to Display Work at B&J Printing

The post title says it all! Franklin County Area Photographers (FCAP) have been invited to display their work in the windows of local business B&J Printing in Downtown Washington, Missouri.

I am so excited for our group! Co-owner Brenda Turnbough contacted me this morning and asked if there would be any interest from FCAP, and I replied that there definitely would be!

Photo from B&J Printing
To be featured, you will need to contact Brenda by email at or by phone at 636-239-3512. The months available are April 2013 through November 2013.

I know the timeframe seems like forever away, but this will give you plenty of time to hone your skills as you build your portfolio to show off your work.

Good luck, fellow FCAPers! And be sure to let us know if you will be featured and what month so we can all come check out your display! And don't forget to follow B&J Printing on Facebook.
